This tune may be purchased for other narrowband TT225 and S3 engine codes such as AUQ, please use the contact us link above to inquire.


Wideband converted AMUs should select the BEA TT Tune for all available options.
Intended for Hybrid K04 options such as the FrankenTurbo F23. Stage 1+ is appropriate for OE replacement turbos.

Modification Options

The narrowband ECU found on the AMU limits some options, but can still give you more power with an upgraded turbo.

Injectors

We still need your injectors to come from a reputable source. The ECU doesn’t have the resolution to handle large injectors well. If your goals require injectors larger than 550cc we suggest a wideband conversion. You’ll also benefit from real time fuel correction with a wideband conversion. E85 can be used with 550cc injectors and we suggest it if you plan to stay narrowband. 4bar fuel pressure regulators are supported, and usually a good idea for built blocks.

MAF/MAF Housing

The stock MAF will be sufficient, but we can accommodate the B5 S4 Bosch housing.

Diverter Valve

Diverter valve can be piston style, full recirculating or hybrid, but no BOVs. The Bosch 710N diverter valve is another good choice for Stage 1 and 1+.

Other Modifications

No limitations on intercoolers, intakes, or fuel pumps. Any exhaust may be used, but additional track car verification is required for full support. For upgraded intakes, please use a dry filter. If using an oiled filter, regular MAF cleaning will be needed.

3bar MAP sensors are not supported.


Injector Policy

Injectors are the heart of your build. They need to be genuine Bosch or properly modified with a detailed flow report. Injectors must come from a reputable source, there are too many counterfeit and subpar rebuilds that do not flow as advertised, may damage your engine, they waste time and money and we will not support them. This site is, of course, a reputable source, but there are others and we will gladly share that list via email. It even includes other tuning companies; we’d rather you buy genuine injectors from another tuner than purchase cheap, ineffective, or knock-off injectors. Injectors purchased on auction and third party sites that ship in boxes with smiles on them are not worth your money & time. In short, if you are looking for places to save money on your project, injectors are not the place to do it. 

We expect that cars will fuel differently based on age and condition, however, all of the injectors supported by this tune have a normal range of variance. If your injectors are not within this range you may be required to replace them or flow test them at your expense.


What You’ll Need

A Windows 8, 10, or 11 laptop with a USB-A port. Chrome OS and MacOS are not supported, but software requirements are minimal; if your computer meets the minimum requirements for your version of Windows you’re good to go.

You’ll need an internet connection to download and upload files but not for flashing and logging.

With no additional fees for flashing hardware you’ll have the ability to tune your car from the comfort of home or you can work with one of our trusted dealers but still have support when your car leaves the shop.  We offer affordable reworks if you need to add new hardware but are not ready to change stages and additional log reviews can be purchased outside the tuning window if you need diagnostic assistance.
