Adapters are required for install of any EV14 fuel injector (Bosch 550cc, 750cc, or 1000cc) on VW, Audi, and Porsche vehicles. VAG platforms have an EV1 style fuel injector plug from the factory that is incompatible with an EV6 connector without an adapter.
