  • How does remote tuning work?

  • Besides your tuning kit, what else do I need?

    Motoza PS (performance software) requires a USB port and a Windows PC (XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10). You may upgrade at any time to the BTX interface for compatibility with Android devices as well as Windows. We also recommend a battery tender for use while flashing software to your vehicle. 

  • How long does the tuning process take?

    Every build is custom tuned, so the timeline can vary between cars. In general, the goal is to be dialed in within 3-5 revisions. On average, the entire process can be completed within 1-2 weeks. However, this time frame is subjective, as some customers are able to actively send files and logs daily while others can only devote a few weekend hours to the process.

  • Can I return an item?

    Yes. We accept returns within 60 days of purchase. The process for removing the tuning file from your vehicle and returning our cable is outlined on our Returns & Exchanges page.

  • How long will my order take to be delivered?

    Delivery times will depend on your location. Once payment is confirmed your order will be packaged. Delivery is based on shipping method chosen but usually takes between 3-5 business days.

  • How do I send and receive files during the tuning process?

    Once your kit is purchased, you may sign up for a Members Account at:members.motozaperformance.com . Here your dashboard allows you to send and receive files as well as host all your data logs and tuning files in one convenient place. We recommend, when signing up for an account, ensuring that you enable notifications to your email so you are alerted when new files are uploaded for you.

  • Can I upgrade my tune later if my build progresses? What if I buy a bigger turbo later?

    Absolutely. Furthermore, you will never be penalized if your build progresses. That's why we're here, after all! At Motoza, loyal customers only pay the difference between the tune they have and the tune they need. Don't want an entire upgrade? No problem! Minor reworks to a tune outside the 60 day window are charged a rework fee based on their complexity. 

  • What is MTC and how does it work?

    MTC stands for Multi Tune Control. It is an added feature designed to give you on-the-go control of your tunes. Using either your android based cell phone/tablet or your laptop, you can visually select your tune wherever you are with the touch of a button. It's that simple.

  • How flexible is the tuning? ie: What parameters can be customized?

    We can fully control all major engine parameters and accommodate projects ranging from a Stage 1 tune through larger BT projects. These tunes include aftermarket injectors, over sized MAFs, CAMS, TB's HFCs, Test Pipes, etc...If you have any specific questions, please feel free to contact us for more information about your specific build. 

  • What is included in the price?

    The price includes an MX-USB interface (can be upgraded to BTX interface), bag, a quick start guide, and the Motoza PS software suite, which reads/writes the files to your ECU, performs data logging, contains a road dyno, and acts as a diagnostics tool.

  • How long do I have before I have to return the remove flashing tool?

    You DON'T. The MX-USB interface as well as the Motoza PS software are yours to keep at no additional cost.
